What is your brand doing to be sustainable?

Materials:

Salty May now only creates pieces using solid, recycled metals.
This ensures there is less wastage, and your jewels can have the lifetime of wear that they deserve. Our goal is for your jewellery to be passed down for years to come.

All materials, tools and gemstones are locally sourced when possible.

Packaging:

Each order is posted and encased in plastic free or recyclable packaging.
This could include paper or reused materials that would otherwise go into landfill.

Australian Brand:

All orders and packed in processed locally in Queenslands beautiful Sunshine Coast, Australia.

Is your jewellery water proof?

Yes!

All of our jewellery is crafted from solid, recycled metals, or 14kt Gold Fill meaning they are safe for wear at all times.

This includes in the ocean and while showering.

How exciting!

To get started on your new idea, you can contact us via Instagram, Facebook or our online Contact form.

Try to include as much detail as you can so we can best understand what you are looking for, and to make the process as smooth as possible.

What is the best way to care for my jewellery?

Taking care of jewellery should be easy!

We include a complimentary polishing cloth in each order to keep your pieces bright and shiny. A gentle rub over your jewellery every so often, will reveal a shimmering surface, just like when you bought them!

For ultimate longevity, we recommend removing jewellery such as rings before rough or high impact activities like the gym or gardening.

Although many pieces are strong enough to withstand these activities, it is best to show them the love they deserve and keep them safe from damage.

What is your return and refund policy?

General Returns, Faulty or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that your jewellery is faulty, not as described or you are unhappy with your order, please contact us regarding the concern within 30 days of purchase.

A store credit or return parcel may be provided under a case-by-case circumstance.

Please note: We are unable to offer returns or refunds for items lost in transit, or breakages after the piece has been worn, for factors that are out of our control. This also applies to all orders after the 30 day return period.

Change of Mind Returns or Wrong Size Items

For any change of mind or incorrect sizing returns, you may return the items (in a new and unworn condition) at your own expense. Refunds or replacements will be processed once the parcel is received back to us.

Custom Work Returns

As custom pieces are usually one-offs and made to order, there are strictly no returns, refunds or store credits able to be provided. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

We take pride in the quality and care that goes into each order, and thank you for your understanding of our store policies.

Domestic shipping information

All orders are sent with registered tracking through Australia Post.

Parcels can be sent via:

  • Regular Parcel post: 2-6 business days after dispatch
  • Express Parcel post: 1-3 Business days after dispatch

Shipping rates are chosen and automatically apply at the checkout.

You will be sent a link with relevant tracking information and updates after your order has been dispatched.

Once your order has been dispatched, Salty May is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen items.

Do you offer International Shipping?

At this stage, we currently only offer Domestic shipping within Australia.

If you are located Internationally and would like to place an order, please contact us so we can organise International Delivery for you.
